Cure Neurodiversity

Happy New Year! Let's hope that the poor souls who embrace the insanity of Neurodiversity will be delivered from that cesspool of logic and seek the help they need this year. It's time to put an end to celebrating having brain damage.

Imagine how much the drug companies laugh at the insanity of anyone celebrating the fact they were poisoned into autism. Dumb blondes even go on TV in Canada talking about the Joy of Autism. I'd certainly be thankful for such lunacy if I were the CEO of Eli Lilly. Instead of sweating the possibility that some politicians who are not corrupt would imprison me, I'd have a bunch of idiots clamoring for respect instead of a cure. Eli Lilly could receive no better gift than a horde of brain damaged people telling the world they like having brain damage.

What has this world come to? Here's to hoping sanity will return in 2007 and the legal guardians of the Neurodiverse will have them deprogrammed from this nonsense so they can receive some help. Mercury induced brain damage is not something to celebrate.

So Mr.Spock was brain damaged? You cannot be serious, jerky!

John, Very well said and I agree 100%. As to anonymous why hide your true identity if you are so proud to be brain damaged and what the hell does a FICTIONAL characted to have to do with the REAL world?? Grow up will you?

Anonymous,
I am unfamiliar with this concept they call "neurodiversity"
My brain is that of a Vulcan's and is invulnerable to the toxic effects of mercury.
Logic tells me you are void of any intelligent capability.
Have you been the subject of a vulcan "mind mell" perhaps?

The NeuroInsane care less about severely autistic children than anyone else. Under the guise of wanting to accept their differences, etc. the only ones lost in the shuffle are the severely autistic children. The NeuroInsane want to say no, we don't have any medical issues. No, we don't have GI problems, etc. etc. Who loses? The children. Good work ND's (or should that be NI's)?

Happy New Year! Last night I dreamed my son was talking to me, it seemed so real, then I woke up. Praying for a word or 2 from my little guy this year! Praying there are no more seizures..Autism makes my son life very tough. I do understand where you are coming from John. I understand because my son is severely Autistic. I have come to the conclusion that sometimes folks dont understand our situation because they dont live it day to day as we do.

John Best said...

KC's Mom;
My wife had that same dream last night, as I do every so often. Let's hope our kids make that breakthrough this year.

Anonymous said...

Best, why do you throw away energy on these retards? They're so mentally caged that they'll never get a clue. It's tragic for their children, sure, but it ain't your responsibility, is it now...

John Best said...

Anon; I try to point out the errors in the neuroinsane's thinking because it seems the decent thing to do. I don't think the kids should suffer just because their parents are mentally challenged.

Anonymous said...

This unfounded idea that we do not understand other parent's situation seems to be cyclical, as Kev pointed out in a post a while back.

John Best said...

Joe; You and Kevin confuse a lack of understanding with abject stupidity. Kevin claims to accept that he should just live with his daughter's autism and accept her for what she is. If he had a brain in his head, he'd understand that autism is not a natural way of being and that he should, at least, have her tested to see if she is affected by mercury.
Accepting autism is accepting defeat. Nobody who loves their child accepts a nightmare of a life for their kid without doing everything in their power to improve the condition. Kev is a lazy and negligent parent for not helping his kid.

OK THAT DOES IT!!!

I am now 100 percent SICK AND TIRED of you, Best! I swore I would never post on here again, but now you've crossed the line! HOW DARE YOU! Genetics isn't natural?? Next you'll say being black isn't natural! GET A CLUE YOU IDIOT!! Your anti diversity rhetoric is blowing a hole in the progress of the understanding of humanity - and for that you can only be 100 percent CONDEMNED!

I am only going to say this once - and get it through your thick skull.

AUTISM IS NOT MERCURY POISONING!!!!

The only thing that needs to be cured is your pathetic ivory tower attitude towards the NATURAL (yes you heard me) diversity of the human race. Celebrate that diversity, and get off your vilification band wagon you discriminating moron!!

(Apologies to a person who I emailed - he knows who he is - but this needed to be said. I've had it with this BULLSHIT!!)

John Best said...

Phil(Timelord);
Your stupidity may well be a natural condition for which no cure exists. Your autism, however, is not.
Some conditions with symptoms similar to autism are genetic. Autism, as described by Kanner and invented by Eli Lilly is mercury poisoning and is curable.
I think you may be one of the weirdos who diagnosed yourself as an excuse for being weird. That is not autism. Weirdos usually are a product of weird parents and it has nothing to do with autism.
You need lots of help, Phil.

Anonymous said...

Natural does not necessarily mean genetic. It usually means "not artificial". So on the one hand we have someone like Fore Sam, who believes that autism is man-made (on purpose), and on the other hand we have those who believe it's not. I guess it's up to each person to apply Occam's Razor on that disagreement, and figure out who's likely right.

Natural can also mean something is common and a fact of life. Disability in general has been described as "natural" following this reasoning.

John Best said...

Joe; You have used the fallacious, neurodiverse ploy of putting words in my mouth. Autism was not intentionally foisted upon us by Eli Lilly. It was a simple error of negligence by not fully testing thimerosal.
Autism was not certainly not common before 1943. It wasn't common before 1990 for that matter. It is something that is out of control and the negligence that caused it needs to stop. Anyone who uses your reasoning is guilty of sophistry since there is nothing natural about autism at all. These arguments of yours are silly attempts to cover up the truth of the matter. Try them out on some grammar school students to see if you can fool them.

Anonymous said...

Try them out on some grammar school students to see if you can fool them.

Actually, this would be a good experiment to try. Get a group of 15 first graders and a group of 15 pediatricians (throw in a few ND's in this group for good measure). Make sure to separate the two groups (just in case the pediatricians/ND's try to cheat off the first graders). Ask each group this simple question. Is it a good idea to inject thimerosal into people? For both groups you will probably have to explain to them that thimerosal is mercury and is a toxic substance (most ped's have no clue what they are injecting into babies). Now, I imagine, the first graders will immediately tell you that this is a very bad idea and very dangerous. Wisdom of young children. The pediatricans will have to think about it. They will ask what the CDC says? How much will be injected? Is there any proof of harm? They will worry about the spread of Hep B amongst the elementary school kids. They are jaded and have lost all sense of reality. I'd trust the wisdom of the first graders above the pediatrians anyday.

p.s. Timelord, do you have any idea of how silly you make yourself look?

You can be furious with me if you want, Phil. That doesn't change the fact that you're 100% wrong. And, simpleton, you look silly to everyone, not just me. BTW, I signed your petition.

Ask each group this simple question. Is it a good idea to inject thimerosal into people?

Sure, and add a second question:

- Does the answer to the first question have any bearing on the matter of whether thimerosal causes autism?

John Best said...

Joe, That's why it's not a good idea. If Eli Lilly knew that in 1931, they would not have given the world autism.

John -
You are an appallingly hateful man. But, I think I have figured you out, after about 16 months of following your ludicrous statements regarding autism. You NEED this forum. Yours is a small, pathetic mind that feels the need to lash out at those who clearly have beat you to the intellectual punch. You have been exposed time and time again as a bigot, contradicted yourself, been roundly defeated in all aspects of debate, and seem to have an insatiable desire to come back for another beating. You are an intellectual masochist. You relentlessly berate parents of autistic children and people with autism. You put up quite a front online, but you must cringe when you have to spend any time alone reflecting on what a sad, ridiculous little life you lead. You can't even take joy in your own child, for crying out loud. What motivates you to take this position? Please don't answer that you are doing this to convince other parents to chelate their children - that argument would ring hollow to any reader who has any moral compass whatsoever. You need this forum to feed your narcissistic self - belittling others to the effect of inflating your own ego instead.
Autism sucks? You suck.

John Best said...

Anon;
It's flattering to know that you hate me.
You can't imagine the joy I have in my son, or the joy I gain from playing with him. Seeing him emerge from the depths of autism is something you will never appreciate.
Your grasp of autism is based on obsolete ignorance. If you are belittled in the process of enlightening others to the facts of that obsolescence, it is your own fault for not keeping pace with the state of the art regarding autism. Your ancient arguments must be exposed for the nonsense that they have become over the last 7 years.
Yes, autism does suck. People with autism don't. They just need more intelligent parents than you who think forwardly and know that their children can be saved rather than neglected and left, lost in the nightmarish abyss.

Anonymous said...

Nightmarish abyss? Who said that? People celebrate Autism and you smash it every chance you get. It's not a disease. It's a difference. Mr.Spock may be a fictional character, but that character is different, jerky! What's the matter? Can't you handle the diversity of the human race? You are the brain damaged one if you can't.

John Best said...

Anon; Nobody celebrates autism. That's just some BS that the neuroinsane try to use as fodder to make the drug companies look good.
It's not just a difference. It's mercury poisoning. These kids can't function at all and they need medical help.
These kids aren't wacked out weirdos like some of the adults from neuroinsanity who diagnosed themselves.

Anonymous said...

I celebrate Autism. It makes my son the individual he is, and I would never take that away from him.

Anonymous said...

Dad of Kyle. My little boy has autism too. He is HFA (Just like his Dad.) I see how my little boy struggles but doesn't give up. He gets frustrated and has meltdowns. I am pretty hard on him when his behaviour is bad, because I know he has to try and fit in with society which is comprised of at least 98% of neuro-typical people. I am very proud of him. If I could have Connor non-autistic but with the same beautiful personality, I think I would like this. Life is hard. For autistic people it is much harder still and they (we) don't have the ability to get through it without a lot of hardship.
The thing is here and I hope you read this site the same way as I do, ForeSam is not anti-autistic. Foresam is a man who has a severely autistic child that is finally responding to a treatment that is not currently accepted practice in the medical fraternity. He has some very interesting theories in respect to causal relations between mercury poisoning and autism (or the increased rate in autism) in recent times.
Now what he is wanting primarily is for his son to keep improving as he has been doing (which I fully support), secondarily he wants to educate the autistic community and interested "stakeholders" in the theory. Lastly he would like that if his theory in any way shows neglect by some parties to the increase in autism that they be held accountable.
OK that is his motivations. I mentioned his theory is interesting. I believe it is a strong theory that MAY in time be proved to be correct.
In all of this remember he doesn't have a problem with autistic people but the hardships they have to endure with autism. He is not saying autistic people can not bring joy into your life he is saying that the condtion of autism is a hardship for the sufferer that ought not be celebrated in itself.

You're insane. This blog is making me kind of sick, sick of people who choose to be ignorant. *barfs*

Anonymous said...

Ignorance is also not something to celebrate, to bask in the mindless happiness of knowing you're not sick and not brain-damaged and have nothing wrong with you and that you're so perfect you're a god.

Anonymous said...

This place also appears to just be a curebie-troll party. It sounds to me more like you're trying to insult us aspies as much as you possibly can while pretending to be sympathetic towards lower-functioning autistics than as if you really care. I mean, really. "Hating Autism", "Cure Neurodiveristy", "Neuroinsane", "autism epidemic", etc. just screams "TROLL" to me.

John Best said...

Mich; One who discredits neuroknuckleheads is not a troll on this blog. I don't think anyone who comments here hates any people with autism. The sane ones among us who try to help their children would also like to see the crazed adults with Asperger's get cured. Of course, crazy people can't understand this. That's why they should get cured.

Anonymous said...

This blog is pretty laughable.

Autistic people are not brain damaged, but you certainly seem to be from the complete lunacy you type.

Anonymous said...

Mr "I like to think Autism is nothing more than mercury poisoning", just so you know, Autism is NOT mercury poisoning, it is a difference. It cannot be "cured" like a disease.

Oh yes, guess what? That's right, I am on the autistic spectrum myself, Asperger's Syndrome to be precise, and I am PROUD OF IT!

Your son is suffering because you are putting him through that ungodly chelation proceedure, which can be fatal I might add, he is not suffering because of his autism

A couple of quotes from your blog, and this specific entry

"Happy New Year! Let's hope that the poor souls who embrace the insanity of Neurodiversity will be delivered from that cesspool of logic and seek the help they need this year. It's time to put an end to celebrating having brain damage."

If anyone is insane mate, it is you, chelation is wrong and evil, autism is a good thing, this blog does kind of make me want to throw up but I don't even see the point. Autistics, by the way, are not brain damaged, GET THAT INTO THAT HEAD OF YOURS!

"What has this world come to? Here's to hoping sanity will return in 2007 and the legal guardians of the Neurodiverse will have them deprogrammed from this nonsense so they can receive some help. Mercury induced brain damage is not something to celebrate."

In answer to "What has the world come to?", it has come to people like you putting this crap on blogs and web sites and making parents believe it and putting their children through unnecessary suffering.

Sanity is already here, it is called NOT CURING AUTISM! As I said earlier, Autism cannot be cured, it is not a disease.

Upon closing

AUTISM IS NOT A MAN-MADE EPIDEMIC! GET IT RIGHT!

hope you will see some sense after that rant

John Best said...

And crazy people not bieng able to understand this????! Don't you even listen to us when we say that we don't want cures?? People who choose to stay ignorant about matters make me sick, and a lot of the rest of us, too.
I don't want cured, and, if you want to kill me, then fine. Remove my blood for "mercury level tests", make me sick, and destroy all your credibility as I die from a lack of blood, troll.

I use to be very into the idea of neurodiversity but the more I thought about it,the more I realized how selfish I was being.I was Dx'd with aspergers and I always thougt that it was a form of autism.I now think that low functioning autism and high functioning autism are completely different and are wrongly described as 2 forms of the same thing.I don't want to be cured but I in no way want to take away the rights of the parents that want to do anything and everything for their child.
